It has been a pleasure being a part of the Independent Planning Group over the past 5 years. I must say they have exceeded my expectations on all levels, including compliance, systems and a genuine desire in helping us build our business. The transition process from Money Concepts to IPG was well thought out and although a lot of work, the process was executed very well. The atmosphere and camaraderie in the company has a feel very similar to the late 80's and early 90's at Money Concepts. My only mistake was not moving to IPG earlier than I did.

Dear Vince and Allan, Today is the first anniversary of my official association with IPG. The year has flown by for me. Anne said to me some months ago, "it feels like you've been with us for a long time". Funny how that goes. I've been meaning to take both of you to task for lying to me eighteen months ago. You both, especially you Vince, told me that the transition to IPG would be a very difficult thing. I think you used the word "nightmare". You lied! Trish and I truly found it straight forward and quite smooth. Your transition team was extremely helpful. The upfront training for Trish was excellent. The ongoing support from everyone at head office is amazing. Trish and I continue to be impressed by the organization and are so extremely delighted that we made the move. One of the things that struck me as most unique about IPG is that it has always been a place where everyone knows your name. I am especially referring to H.O. however many advisors know each other or have grown to know each other as well even though we are not in the same city. I do not think many dealers can same the same thing.

IPG has "hit another home run" with the Progressive Planning Approach™. It gives all financial planners a road map to go back to their existing clients and provide a value added service and it is a great tool to attract new clients. Most importantly the training that goes with the PPA is an excellent way to recruit new financial planners to our offices to help us grow and prosper. Using the PPA is a "guaranteed way" to retain clients and sell more insurance.
